Uruguay President Accepts Diplomatic Credentials from 13 Foreign Representatives

MONTEVIDEO Uruguayan President Tabare Vazquez accepted on Tuesday at his official residence in Montevideo the diplomatic credentials of the representatives of 13 countries.

Accompanied by Foreign Minister Rodolfo Nin Novoa, Vazquez met behind closed doors with Ambassadors Jostein Leiro, of Norway; Barbro Elm, of Sweden; Sanjiv Ranjan, of India; Rashad Aslanov, of Azerbaijan; Meral Barlas, of Turkey; Patience Phumelele Gwala, of South Africa, and Dang Xuan Dung, of Vietnam.

Also presenting their diplomatic credentials to the Uruguayan leader were envoys Estera Mkrtumyan, of Armenia; Andrey Tehov, of Bulgaria; Csaba Gelenyi, of Hungary; Riyad Saud Alkhenene, of Saudi Arabia; Christoph Meran, of Austria, and Jonah Mkpuruka Odo, of Nigeria.
