BUENOS AIRES – A Mexican citizen wanted for murdering a teacher in Buenos Aires province has been arrested in Ecuador, the Argentine Security Ministry said.
Waldo Mares Parra was detained last Friday in San Francisco del Milagro, a city in Ecuador’s Guayas province, the ministry said in a statement.
Police intelligence officers and Interpol agents working out of Quito arrested the suspect.
The 33-year-old Mares Parra allegedly murdered Griselda Noemi Gonzalez, a teacher he met on Facebook, in February.
