Water Truck Collides with 18 Vehicles in Mexico City, Killing 4

MEXICO CITY Ė A water-tanker truck collided on Tuesday with 18 other vehicles and damaged three buildings in Mexico City, leaving four people dead and four more injured, the capitalís Attorney Generalís Office (PGJ) said.

The injured, including the truck driver and his colleague, were transferred to hospitals. The PGJ said that those who were responsible for the accident were taken into custody but did not elaborate on their identities.

The vehicles involved in the accident will be sent to the Attorney Generalís Office in Miguel Hidalgo for further investigations.

According to local media reports, the tank truck, with a capacity of 50,000 liters, failed to brake and collided with the other vehicles before crashing into the exterior wall of a residential building.
