BANGKOK - People in Bangkok were preparing on Tuesday for the birthday of Thai Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, who turns 64 on Thursday, an epa journalist reports.
A large banner on the front of a building in Bangkok's Old City District showed the image of the Crown Prince along with birthday greetings written in Thai.
Customers were seen around the same area buying portraits of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the Crown Prince in local shops.
People were also buying pictures of Queen Sirikit in preparation for her birthday on August 12.
