LONDON – Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom, maintained in 2015 her high pace of work, and participated in 340 official events, 35 of which were abroad, The Times said on Friday.
The paper published a letter from a reader that each year draws up a list of the activity of the members of the royal family, made from advertisements in official gazettes.
The Queen, who in 2015 became the longest monarch to reign the United Kingdom (63 years and 216 days), exceeding Queen Victoria, participated in more events than the Dukes of Cambridge, William and Catherine.
