MADRID – King Felipe on Wednesday presided over a board meeting of the Spanish Royal Academy Foundation at which the institution’s latest projects, including a campaign to find new private donors, were discussed.
The meeting was held at the Zarzuela Palace and attended by Bank of Spain Gov. Luis Maria Linde, in his role as chairman of the foundation’s board, Spanish Royal Academy, or RAE, director Dario Villanueva and foundation secretary Ricardo Marti Fluxa.
Others in attendance were Cervantes Institute director Victor Garcia de la Concha; Iberdrola Foundation president Manuel Marin; and prominent business leaders Juan Miguel Villar Mir, of OHL; Borja Prado, of Endesa; CaixaBank’s Isidre Faine; Santander’s Rodrigo Echenique; Ignacio Garralda, of Mutua Madrileña; Jose Ramon Alvarez Rendueles, of ArcelorMittal; Prisa’s Ignacio Polanco; and Santiago de Ybarra, of Vocento.
