 MIAMI – The Web soap opera “No me hallo,” starring Mexican actress Angelica Vale, will begin running on May 16 in a series of five-minute episodes that will be broadcast on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Univision announced Wednesday. “No me hallo” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Luz Maria “Luchita” Rivera, a Mexican-American middle class woman who is a former music star who gets left without a cent when her husband and agent leaves her. Determined to triumph, both at her job and as a singer, Luchita tells her bosses, friends and relatives that there is a simple reason why she cannot stay at one job because “No me hallo” (I don’t feel comfortable). But it’s possible that she will soon find herself, thanks to a blooming romance with Abelardo (Harry Geithner). Also starring in the Web soap opera are Rogelio Martinez and Adriana Diaz-Chapa. The show will be available on the Internet at www.NovelasySeries.com and on smartphones via Univision applications and videos. Viewers can participate actively in the adventures by means of the apps and available social networking tools. After the complete transmission of the Web soap opera online and via mobile devices, “No me hallo” will be broadcast as a scheduled special by Univision, the country’s leading Spanish-language network. |
