NEW YORK – Latvian power forward Kristaps Porzingis produced 30 points, eight rebounds and three blocks as he lead the New York Knicks to a 111-107 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.
After losing on the road to the lowly Chicago Bulls on Saturday, the Knicks (13-13) were back to winning ways thanks to strong performances from Porzingis and Doug McDermott, who scored 23 points.
Jarrett Jack added 19 points and four assists for New York.
It was another disappointing night for the Hawks, who were led by Dennis Schroeder with 21 points, while Ersan Ilyasova scored 20 points, with four rebounds and two assists.
With the defeat, Atlanta slips to a record of 6-20, and their fourth loss in their last six outings.
