NEW YORK – United States golfer Dustin Johnson continued to lead the World Golf Ranking released on Monday with 11 points, while his compatriot Rickie Fowler jumped to the seventh spot.
Fowler, who was placed ninth in last week’s rankings, advanced after winning the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas on Sunday.
Additionally, US golfers Jordan Speith, Justin Thomas, and Brooks Koepka came second, third, and eighth, respectively.
Spain’s Jon Rahm came fourth, ahead of Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama.
Further down the rankings, Spaniard Sergio Garcia came 11th, while compatriot Rafael Cabrera-Bello remained in the 20th spot.
