BUKOWINA TATRZANSKA, Poland – Groupama’s Austrian cyclist Georg Preidler won the sixth stage of the 2018 Tour de Pologne on Thursday, while Team Sky’s Polish Michal Kwiatkowski continues to lead in the overall standing.
Preidler won the sixth stage in three hours and 16 minutes, followed by Bora’s Emanuel Buchmann from Germany and Michal Kwiatkowski, respectively. With this victory, the Austrian cyclist ascended 11 positions to stand now at seventh in the ranking.
The first three positions of the overall standing remain the same, with Kwiatkowski from Team Sky as leader, followed by Belgian Dylan Teun and New Zealander George Bennett, who came 16 and 24 seconds behind, respectively.
The seventh and last stage of the tour on Friday will be covering 136 kilometers between Bukowina Resort and Bukowina Tatrzanska.
